A Uhrichsville woman marked a milestone birthday in 2024 as she turned 100.
At Thursday evening’s council meeting, Mayor Jim Zucal read a proclamation declaring April 12th as Rose Pancher day.
“Graduated from Uhrichsville High school as Valedictorian in 1942. She was a Donut Dolly [with the American Red Cross Clubmobile Service] at the Dennison Railroad Depot during World War II.”
Pancher was born, in the city, in 1924.
