An early morning traffic stop on Saturday resulted in an arrest and drugs to be confiscated.
According to the Uhrichsville Police Department, at 3:10am, Officer Cottrell conducted a stop on a vehicle on W. Third Street for an equipment violation.
The passenger of the automobile was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Canton Police Department related to felony drug offenses. Officers searched the vehicle and located two bags, containing a suspected 63 grams of methamphetamine.
The evidence will go to BCI for testing.
