The City of Uhrichsville is asking for voter support for a renewal levy.
This is for overall operations conducted within the city, says Mayor Jim Zucal.
“Typically use it for improvement mainly to make our community better. We’re paving streets, we’re cleaning up our community. It is not a new tax. It is a current operating expense.”
Issue 10 would keep the existing levy on for five years and would collect just over $141,000 annually as the rate cannot exceed 2.8 mills.
