City of Uhrichsville administration is anticipating to send in an application for grant money.
The Brownfield Remediation Funds provides municipalities the chance to apply for a reimbursement but the entity must have the initial funds available for the projects.
Mayor Jim Zucal updates council that they are looking at six structures.
“The properties, some are city owned and try to combine these properties to get the dilapidated structures down and initially get these properties on the market where we can build affordable housing.”
Council will need to make a decision before the February 23rd deadline.
