The Uhrichsville Democratic Central Committee will meet on Monday, May 19th to fill a vacant council seat.
Chair Martha Campbell says they have 45 days to fill the Ward 1 position.
“Matt Fox has resigned his seat so we need to meet as a Democrat Central Committee in Uhrichsville to appoint his replacement. Whoever gets appointed to that by our committee will serve through the end of 2027.”
A letter of intent is not needed. Those interested must be a registered democrat and live in Ward 1’s northeast quadrant.
The Committee will meet at 6:30pm in Uhrichsville Council Chambers.
A reason for Fox’s resignation was unknown.
