Nick McWilliams reporting – Fort Laurens Museum will host a rock concert event and Historic Poker Run next weekend.
The upcoming Rockin’ the Revolution and poker run will be held Saturday, June 3rd, starting at 1 p.m. with admission at $7 per ticket. All admissions include entry into the fort museum.
Visitors can enjoy local acts of the Low Budget Band, Eric Brooke Band, Urban Honey, and The Moonlyterz.
The fort will also host axe throwing, food trucks, and a beer garden from Lockport Brewery, with a Color Guard ceremony at 6:15 p.m.
For the poker run, registration starts at 11 a.m. with the first bike out at noon, with costs of $20 per bike and $5 for additional riders. Bikers will travel from the fort to other historic locations including Historic Zoar Village, Schoenbrunn Village, and the Dennison Depot.
Proceeds will be used for educational programming and maintenance of the Fort Laurens site, and more information is online at www.fortlaurensmuseum.org.
