Nick McWilliams reporting – The Tuscarawas County Genealogical Society is planning for three classes to help residents learn more about their ancestry.

Three genealogy classes will be held at the society’s main office location on Center Street in Dennison. All classes are free and open to the public.

The Beginning Genealogy class will be held May 17th from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Intermediate and Advanced classes will be held June 21st and July 19th, respectively, with more information on what each will hold online at www.tuscogene.com.

More information is also available by calling the society’s library at (740) 922-0531 on the first, third, or fifth Tuesday each month, or Thursdays or Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Registration is not required, but is encouraged for handout materials, which can also be done by calling the society.
