Information has been provided by the Ohio State Highway Patrol regrading a serious injury crash.
Wednesday morning, at around 6:35, a Chevrolet Trax and a Harley Davidson were both westbound on US 36, near Robin Road, when the Trax slowed for other westbound traffic, which was attempting to turning left into a private drive.
The motorcyclist failed to slow down and hit the rear of the Trax.
The Harley was operated by 34-year-old, Tyler Crawford, of New Philadelphia, and he was flown from the scene to Akron City Hospital with serious injuries. He was not wearing a helmet at the time.
The 22-year-old Chevy driver, also from New Philadelphia, was not injured and had been wearing a seat belt.
Assisting at the scene was Tri-County EMS and Arrowhead Fire and EMS.
