The Tuscarawas Philharmonic Orchestra will set the romantic mood for Valentine’s Day this weekend.
The Kent State Tuscarawas Performing Arts Center will host From the Heart: 90 Years of Serenade, the Philharmonic’s annual Valentine’s concert on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Associate Conductor Dr. Scott MacPherson says the performance will feature every section of the orchestra, the chorus and the Dover High Chamber Orchestra in hopes of sparking a love connection in the crowd.
The Philharmonic will roll out the red carpet for guests, literally, with a photographer to take pictures of guests as they enter, according to executive director Emma Hinkle.
