Vera “Tonnie” Leone Rose, age 85, of Uhrichsville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Claymont Health and Rehabilitaion in Uhrichsville.
Born March 8, 1939, in Uhrichsville, Vera was the daughter of the late Floyd and Mildred (Herron) Jackson.
A graduate of Uhrichsville High School, Vera retired as head of housekeeping for Twin City Hospital. She loved to feed the birds, traveling, gardening, camping, Richard Petty Racing, Cleveland Indians and spending time with family.
On June 22, 1958, Vera married Ronald Rose. Mr. Rose passed February 6, 2013. In addition to her parents and husband, Vera is preceded in death by 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
Vera is survived by her children Tom (Sherri Golec) Rose and Amy Jo (Mark) Craigo; siblings Patricia (Joe) Albaugh and Floyd “Buzz” (Patty) Jackson; grandchildren Brie (Dan) Lusheck, Lindsaye (Stan) Dombrowski, Lane Craigo, Tyler (Hannah) Amore, Kristin (Carl) Cook, Courtney (Geoff) Thompson and Kyrsten (Nick) Lyons; great grandchildren Jakson, Chantz, Jude, Finn, Rose, Gio, Colton, Blake and Jace, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Vera’s wishes, no services or visitation is planned.
