Vickie Diane King, 66, of Dennison, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover. Born August 27, 1956, in Dennison, she was a daughter of Dessie I. (Tidrick) Casebeer of New Philadelphia and the late Gene L. Casebeer.

Vickie was the loving wife of Edward Lee King who preceded her in death on June 19, 2022, after 47 years of a loving marriage, and the devoted mother of Scott King and Melissa (Scott) Beagle who survive her, as well as Edward L. King, II who preceded her in death in 2015. Vickie is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Doris King; grandchildren, Paighton, Gage, Andrew, Kayeleigh, Matthew, Edward III “Eddie”, and Katelynn; great-grandson, Aarbor; mother-in-law, Ethel M. “Tuty” King; sisters, Cathy Casebeer and Candy Donaldson; brother, Terry (Brenda) Casebeer; sisters-in-law, Linda (Gary) Hanna and  Carolyn King; and numerous nieces and nephews, in addition to her mother.

A lifelong area resident, Vickie was a 1974 graduate of Indian Valley North. She loved caring for her family throughout her life, and she had also been a store associate at Dollar General for a number of years. She delighted in the time that she spent with her grandchildren, and they loved their “Memaw” just as much!

In keeping with Vickie’s wishes, cremation is planned after she has given the gift of a better life to someone else by tissue donation through Lifebanc. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions honoring her memory may be given to Community Hospice.
