Views From The Hot Seat Author to Visit Kent State Tusc

The Tuscarawas County Literacy Coalition and the One Book One Community committee are hosting author Michael Gunther on Monday, November 6^th.

The free community event will be held at Kent State University Tuscarawas at Founders’ Hall, with the talk to start at 7pm.

Gunther is a Tuscarawas County resident, who is a former teacher and basketball coach for Newcomerstown, Strasburg, and Dover high schools.

For 2023, One Book One Community chose his book, Views From The Hot Seat, as the countywide reading selection and it will be discussed during the upcoming discussion.

The book can be purchased on Amazon, and proceeds will go to help the new building project for the Tuscarawas Friends of the Homeless Shelter. Copies are also available to rent at local libraries.
