Mary Alice Reporting –
The Clover Café at Tuscarawas County is gearing up for operations in September, but volunteers are needed.
The fair, in Dover, runs from Monday the 16th through Sunday the 22nd and the café is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Committee member Diane Glazer says, since 12 people are required, adult helpers are needed to work the different shifts.
“We are more than happy to have anyone willing to help in the café or wanting to help in the café that wants to support our 4-H program, so we do have some community members that also spend some time and volunteer in the café.”
She adds that they rely heavily on 4-H club member sign-ups.
“The kids get the responsibility of coming in there and actually working with the public and serving the public throughout the day.”
Proceeds made during the café’s opening supports the 4-H program with things like reduced camp costs, awards and recognition, training materials, and more.
Sign-ups can be done online by following the posted link at The Clover Café at Tuscarawas County.
