Work is starting Monday on the W. 3rd Street bridge in Uhrichsville.
The Ohio Department of Transportation Project will close the roadway between N. Water and N. Jay Street. Detour signs will be posted.
City Service Director Cade Watkins says this is for a bridge deck replacement.
“That project is slated to begin July 13th. It’ll be a 90-day closure. Black Forest Construction is the contractor. Very excited about this $2.3 million project.”
The previous administration secured funding from ODOT to cover 95% of the cost. The city is paying $200,000.
