Walter G. “Glenn” Seibert, 76, of Strasburg passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, in the Community Hospice Truman House.

Born on December 28, 1946, in Dover he was a son of the late Roger and Lorena Williamson Seibert. Glenn proudly served his country with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Following his discharge, he worked as truck driver for the next 50 years, eventually retiring with WW Transport in Winesburg. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going to drag racing events, listening to music and being with his family and friends.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 54 years, Vickie Diehl Seibert whom he married on November 3, 1968; daughters, Michelle Smitley of New Philadelphia, Tonya Barkheimer of Strasburg; brothers, Jerry (Denise) Seibert of Strasburg, Scott Seibert of Coshocton; sister, Tami (Vern) Warnock of Canada; grandchildren, Josh and Ashley Smitley, Brock and Lance Barkheimer; and special friends, Ron Runyon and Brandon Dailey both of Strasburg.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 4th starting at 12:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Strasburg with Rev. Jason Rissler officiating. Interment will be in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. The family will be greeting friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
