Mary Alice Reporting –

By spring 2024, the President and CEO of the United Way of Tuscarawas County will retire, and a new person will step into the role.

Robin Waltz has been the leader of the organization for eight years and helped to implement new services and programs, such as, free tax filing and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

UWTC Board President Chris Lane says a search will now be conducted to fill the position with interested candidates able to send a cover letter and resume to careers@tuscunitedway.org.

“The ideal candidate is, first and foremost, invested in Tuscarawas County. They have to be highly organized. We want someone how has a long track record of being able to raise funds in a non-profit fashion, grant writing, but that’s not a requirement. That’s something we can teach and develop.”

In the meantime, planning is underway for a special farewell event to honor Waltz and her contributions to United Way. More details are expected to be shared.
