Wanda J. Zeigler, 92, of Midvale, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia.
Born in Roswell on November 16, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Marcus and Beatrice (Day) Renicker. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers; Raymond, Harry, Dean Renicker, and Charles Smitley; her grandson, Eric Zeigler; and her son-in-law, Paul Noel.
Wanda was a talented seamstress and enjoyed making clothes for her family. She also enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and cooking. She loved to travel and was able to visit 19 different countries and 49 states in her lifetime.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 65 years, William F. Zeigler; her children, Floyd (Debbie) Zeigler, Brenda (Paul) Frey, Stella Noel, and Shelly (Bob) Hensel; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren; along with her sister-in-law, Diane Renicker of New Philadelphia.
Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home& Crematory in Dover on Friday, February 11, 2022, from 4:00-700 pm. A celebration of Wanda’s life will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 11:00 am with Pastor Dan Parson officiating. Interment will take place at Dover Burial. Park.
