Drivers are again encountering some more traffic issues in downtown New Philadelphia.

Service director Ron McAbier says the work on the Franklin Square storm sewer project has shifted.

Front Avenue is open again but now west High Avenue is closed for two weeks at the intersection with 4th street to close out the project.

McAbier says the posted detours have drivers using ray and front avenues to get around the closed intersection.

He says also right now North Avenue is closed east of north Broadway until early December for a waterline project.

This comes as crews have been putting the finishing touches on the bike lane project on east High Avenue in recent days.
