Nick McWilliams reporting – A one-vehicle accident in Coshocton County led to serious injuries for its lone occupant. 

Sheriff’s deputies responded just past 2 p.m. to reports on an accident with injury on South Second Street. 

According to a release, the initial investigation showed that 29-year-old Tyler Taylor of West Lafayette was traveling north before going left-of-center and off the road.

The vehicle went over the embankment and partially over a river bank before striking a tree.

Responding fire crews had to extricate Taylor by mechanical means, before transporting him to Coshocton Regional Medical Center to be flown to Grant Medical Center in Columbus. 

No condition update was available for Taylor.

The Coshocton Fire Department, Three Rivers Fire District, Coshocton County EMS, and MedFlight all assisted at the scene.
