Mary Alice Reporting –

It’s Election Day and the Tuscarawas County Board of Elections reminds voters what they need to have at polling locations.

Ohio law changed this year, and the biggest effect is that a picture identification is required.

Director Gail Garbrandt says an acceptable form is a passport among others.

“You can use an Ohio driver’s license, an Ohio ID card, you can use a military ID, you can use an ID from veteran services, but it has to be administered by the US Department of Veteran Affairs.”

Polling locations close at 7:30pm.
