Applications are open for a Memorial Foundation scholarship that preserves the legacy of Zachary Davis.
The Zachary Davis Memorial Foundation was created by his mother, Anita Davis, following his death due to a drug overdose. The goal of the foundation is to spread a message of hope and education.
Five seniors in Tuscarawas County pursuing a career related to addiction will receive a $1,000 scholarship each. Applications are available on www.zachsstory.org and must be submitted by April 15th.
The Scholarship Selection Committee of the Zachary Davis Memorial Foundation will judge applications based on completion, written statement of career goals, school transcript, and letter of recommendation.
